Yarmouth Water District: Village Improvements, November 3, 2023
As of Friday, November 3, 2023, the Yarmouth Water District has repaved the majority if York Street, where recent water main improvements were made. Gendron Construction, the contractor for the project, will pave the last patch once  water samples are received, which will require one additional road closure. This could happen as early as today, November 3rd. Loam and seeding of the project area will be weather dependent and may occur in the spring of 2024.

Gendron will be excavating the intersection of Main and Portland starting on Monday, November 6, 2023. The Yarmouth Water District expects this work will require a week to complete. Be advised that this intersection will be closed to one lane of alternating traffic.

Upon completion of the improvements at Main and Portland Streets, Gendron will begin work at the intersection of Main and Bridge Street. Main Street will have one lane of alternating traffic and Bridge Street will be closed at Main Street. This work should be completed in a few days.
