As Yarmouth’s Recycling Mascot, Wilby participates in public events such as the Clam Festival and Transfer Station events, and often accompanies the Town’s Public Works Director to Yarmouth schools for educational recycling presentations.

Funds from the Wilby Clynk Account, established by Yarmouth's former Recycling Committee (now the Yarmouth Climate Action Board), help to defray the cost of maintaining Wilby’s costume. Proceeds also assist the Committee in supporting the activities Wilby participates in. If you would like to donate to the Wilby Fund, Clynk bags for your redeemable cans and bottles may be picked up at the Yarmouth Transfer Station, or you may send donations directly to:
