Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee

Join the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee this September and October for a Community Conversations series and the Future Land Use Workshop! Join in person on 9/11, 9/18, 10/2, and 11/13, or learn how to participate online.

The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will support the Department of Planning & Development and North Star Planning in the preparation of an update to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is tasked with:  

• Provide direction to the Department of Planning & Development and the selected consultant in the preparation of the Comprehensive Plan update; 
• Participate in the development and review of the inventory and analysis of existing conditions in various topic areas; 
• Participate in the public engagement program; 
• Along with the general public, refine the vision statement; 
• Participate in the development of policies, goals, and strategies, and the future land use plan; 
• Participate in the development of the implementation program; and 
• Participate in the public presentation of the final draft comprehensive plan.

The Steering Committee typically meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Town Hall Community Room.
